Windsor Wellness Centre has donated 2,000 pulse oximeters, valued at over $7 million, to the Diabetes Association of Jamaica (DAJ).

This donation reflects Windsor Wellness’s dedication to supporting frontline healthcare workers and ensuring patients receive the timely, effective care they deserve.

The donation was handed over by Carla Brannon, Operational Manager of Windsor Wellness, to Dr Lidia Badell Moore, Endocrinologist at the Diabetes Association of Jamaica.

Before contribution, the DAJ had only five pulse oximeters, which limited their ability to monitor patients’ oxygen levels. With these additional devices, the association will be better equipped to provide life-saving interventions to patients managing chronic illnesses such as diabetes.

Pulse oximeters are a vital tool for monitoring oxygen levels, providing healthcare workers with the information they need to act swiftly and save lives.

“This donation is life-changing for our team and, most importantly, for our patients,” shared Dr Lidia Badell Moore. “Before today, we only had five pulse oximeters to meet the needs of our community. Windsor Wellness has given us the means to care for more people with greater precision and compassion. We are deeply grateful for their support.”

“At Windsor Wellness, our mission has always been to care deeply, act decisively, and contribute meaningfully,” Brannon said. “We’re honoured to play a role in strengthening Jamaica’s healthcare system, and we’ll continue to support initiatives that make a difference in people’s lives.”
