315 PEOPLE MURDERED IN JAMAICA UP TO SATURDAY JULY 25 – IRIE Fm

Jamaica recorded 315 murders up to Saturday, July 25.
That’s 80 fewer than the 395 recorded in the corresponding period last year.
According to the Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF), St. James had the highest number of murders with 40 followed by St. Andrew South and St. Andrew Central with 25 each.
Clarendon had the third highest with 24, followed by Manchester with 23.
Portland had the lowest with three.
Cases of rape, robberies and break-ins also declined.
Rape cases went down by 20, robberies by 99 and break-ins by 66.
