Detectives assigned to the Hunts Bay Criminal Investigation Branch (CIB) conducted an operation on Shannon drive, Newport West Kingston 13 which resulted in the seizure of three firearms and fifty assorted rounds of ammunition.
Reports from the police are that between the hours of 11:45 am, and 1:59 pm on Thursday, October 10, a search was conducted on a premises in the area, where one .357 Smith and Wesson pistol, one Springfield XD9 pistol and one Ruger P95 pistol with two magazine containing fifty 9mm rounds of ammunition were found hidden in a box.
No arrest was made in connection with the seizure.
Investigation into the matter is ongoing.
