Two men have been charged with possession of prohibited weapon and unauthorized possession of ammunition following the seizure of a firearm and ammunition on Garland district, Spring Mount in St James on Friday, October 25.
Charged are; Lico Maxwell otherwise called ‘Nico’, Flamstead Garden and Georgia Miller otherwise called ‘Queenie’, customer service representative of Garland district both in St James.
Reports are that at about 3:50 a.m., lawmen were in the area when a premises that was occupied by Maxwell and Miller was searched. During the search of the premises one Girsan Regard MC pistol with a magazine containing seventeen 9mm rounds of ammunition was found in their possession. They were both taken into custody.
A question-and-answer session was conducted and the men were officially charged. Their court date is being finalized.
