Curfew in Rockfort extended as cops monitor crime flare-up

The 48-hour curfew that was imposed in sections of Rockfort, Kingston 2 has been extended. The curfew will continue from 6:00 p.m. on Monday, December 16 and will end at 6:00 p.m., on Wednesday, December 18.

 The boundaries of the curfew are as follows: North: Along an imaginary line from Oliver Road and to the intersection of Hildene then to Warieka Road onto the intersection Harbour Road.

 East: Along Warieka Road then continue onto Harbour Road to the intersection of Windward Road. 

South: Along Windward Road from Warieka Road then to Lucas Road.

West: Along Lucas Road from Windward Road then onto Oliver Road onto the intersection of Hildene. 

During the hours of the curfew, all persons within its boundaries are required to remain within their premises, unless otherwise authorized by the ground commander.
