Police seize 5 firearms and assortment of ammunition during operation on Mcintosh Drive, Kingston 3

Five firearms and an assortment of ammunition were seized by the police during an operation on Mcintosh Drive, Kingston 3 yesterday.
Reports from the Half Way Tree police are that between 4:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m., police personnel on operation observed a shopping bag at a tree trunk while searching a premises in the area.
The bag was inspected and revealed one Colt semi-automatic pistol with a magazine affixed containing two .45 cartridges.
A further search was conducted with members of the Canine Division, which yielded 4 homemade firearms, forty-one 12-gauge cartridges, nine 9mm cartridges, one .40 cartridge, and one .22 mm cartridge.
No arrest was made in relation to the seizure.
The investigation is ongoing.
