Holness thanks Caricom for assisting Jamaica with Hurricane Melissa recovery efforts

Prime Minister Dr. Andrew Holness has thanked the Caribbean Community, (Caricom) for assisting Jamaica with Hurricane Melissa recovery efforts, noting that the devastating category 5 system caused some US$10 billion in damage.
Speaking at the jamaican diaspora town hal in St. Kitts and Nevis at the weekend, Dr. Holness said the Planning Institute of Jamaica, PIOJ finalized -the figure, recently.
Dr. Holness said almost all Caribbean countries have contributed to Jamaica’s relief and recovery.
