Two persons who allegedly scammed motorists, who went to the St. Catherine traffic ticket day event yesterday, were arrested by the police.

Head of the St. Catherine North Police Senior Superintendent Hopton Nicholson, said they are likely to be charged with larceny by trick.

SSP Nicholson warned motorists to only do traffic ticket transactions with legitimate officials from the court.

This as the scammers reportedly took advantage of motorists who attempted to circumvent yesterday’s proceedings.
