Zinc fence removal exercises are being conducted in sections of St. Andrew North Central.
The project is aimed at uplifting communities such as Park Lane and Cassava Piece.
Walls are being erected to replace the zinc fencing.
Member of Parliament Delano Seiveright said the project is part of a wider, multi-year effort to improve the aesthetics of the communities.
He said zinc fence removal will not only change the look of communities but also the mindset of residents.
