Three men shot two fatally during alleged confrontation with police in Hague, Trelawny last evening

Three men were shot, two fatally, during an alleged confrontation with the police in Hague, Trelawny last evening.

The men have yet to be identified.

Lawmen say the incident occurred about 8 P.M.

The details of the incident have not been released.

According to the police the wounded men were taken to hospital, where two were pronounced dead and the other admitted.

The matter has been reported to the Independent Commission of Investigations (INDECOM).
