Jamaica and Ghana are joining forces to collaborate on agri-processing, fintech, logistics, manufacturing, energy, and the creative industries.
Foreign Affairs Minister, Kamina Johnson Smith made the disclosure during a post-Cabinet press briefing at Jamaica House, yesterday.
The two countries also signed two Memoranda of Understanding for cooperation in health and defence.
Mrs. Johnson Smith said the agreement was reached at the third session of the Permanent Joint Commission in Accra, last month.
She said Jamaica and Ghana have renewed their formal cooperation agenda after more than two decades.
Mrs. Johnson Smith said this work will also support the next phase of economic engagement between the two countries by way of an export and business mission to Ghana next month.
