Five more Haitians are in police custody increasing the number of migrants to 22.
Earlier today 17 Haitians including three children were taken into custody, after they landed in a boat in Portland overnight.
A search has been underway to locate other Haitians who may have also travelled by boat to the area.
Among the initial 17 Haitians are 10 adult males, four adult females and three children.
