NIS pension payments will begin on September 18 – IRIE FM

The Social Security Ministry is advising National Insurance Scheme (NIS) pensioners that pension payments will begin on Friday, September 18.
It follows delays in payments originally scheduled for yesterday, September 15.
In a statement on its Instagram page this morning, the Ministry urges pensioners to make the necessary arrangements to access their payments commencing on Friday.
The Ministry has apologized for the delay and any inconvenience caused by the development.
