Seprod is asking its shareholders to approve a five-for-one stock split and give the Board more flexibility to raise new money through the sale of shares.
The company has called an Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) for midday on October 12, where shareholders will vote on three proposals that were agreed upon by the Board during a meeting on Monday (September 21, 2026).
First, Seprod wants to increase the number of shares it is authorised to issue from one billion to 1.9 billion.
The company also wants to split every existing share into five.
Seprod also wants permission for its Board to issue new shares in the future, including through an Additional Public Offering, which could allow the company to raise new capital.
In a statement, Seprod Chairman Paul Scott says the company is focused on integrating its businesses, strengthening its financial position and preparing to take advantage of future growth opportunities.
Seprod reported revenue of J$152.3 billion for 2025, an increase of 14 per cent over the previous year.
Operating profit was $11.1 billion, while net profit attributable to stockholders was $4.2 billion.
