Opposition Leader Mark Golding says the person or persons responsible for the triple murder and arson attack along Kidd Lane in St. Andrew must be brought to justice, as such monstrous behaviour cannot be allowed to continue.
The deceased have been identified as 30-year-old Lashea Ellis and her one-year-old son Khael Daley, as well as 39-year-old Kimesha Gibson, otherwise called “Munchie”.
Reports are that the main suspect in relation to the attack is now in police custody.
While acknowledging the progress in bringing down the country’s murder rate, Mr. Golding says this incident indicates Jamaica still has a long way to go.
