The father of three-year-old Jayce Pinnock, who was shot and killed during a home invasion in Denham Town, Kingston on Saturday has succumbed to wounds sustained during the incident.

He is 31-year-old shop operator, Kerrio Pinnock otherwise called Boysie.

Police reports are that at about 1:40 A.M, Jayce was shot and killed by gunmen during the invasion.

Pinnock, along with his eight-year-old son, was also wounded in the incident.

Police say Pinnock died yesterday at hospital.

In the meantime, 33-year-old Decome Mahonie, otherwise called “Romie”, a chef of Kingston 14, who was named as a suspect in the incident, has turned himself in to the police.

And the Denham Town police say they are following several leads to locate all perpetrators involved in the home invasion.

Speaking during a visit to the Edward Seaga Infant School in Kingston yesterday, where Jayce was a student, Senior Superintendent of Police Michael Bailey noted that those responsible will be brought to justice.

He pleaded with residents to provide whatever information they can to aid the investigation.

SSP Bailey said the society must do all it can to ensure that these crimes do not go unpunished.
