Female among 19 members of the ‘Genasyde gang’ charged by police in relation to violent crimes in four parishes

A female is among 19 members of the ‘Genasyde gang’ charged by the police’s Specialized Investigations Branch (SIB).

The accused have been charged with offences under the Criminal Justice (Suppression of Criminal Organizations) Act.

Charged for the leadership of a criminal organisation is 39-year-old Tefari Green, otherwise called ‘Scoobs’ and ‘Scrappy’, of Georges Lane, Kingston.

Charged for being part of a criminal organisation are; 35-year-old Delano Brissett, otherwise called ‘Shrimpy’ of 11 miles Bull Bay, St Thomas, 30-year-old Damion Taylor, otherwise called ‘Demon’, of Park Lane, Kingston, 21-year-old Tywaine Campbell, also known as ‘Likkle Bredda’, of Hanover Street, Kingston, 33-year-old Andrew Atkins, otherwise called ‘Serial’, of Georges Lane, Kingston, 28-year-old Terrence Grant, otherwise called ‘Grabba’, of Snow-den Avenue, Kingston.

Also charged are 33-year-old Mashel Ward, also known as ‘Feeky’, of Sunrise Crescent, Kingston, 36-year-old Andre Wright, otherwise called ‘Son Son’ of Falcon Road, Phase 2, Seaview Gardens, Kingston, 20-year-old Reko Hylton, otherwise called ‘Moppa’, of Sunrise Crescent, St. Andrew, 38-year-old Kemar Clarke, also known as ‘Boomi’, of Sunrise Crescent, Kingston, Ian Johnson, otherwise called ‘Yankee’, of Pretoria Road, Kingston 13, 42-year-old Cranston Hutchinson of Law Street, Kingston.

28-year-old Nicquan Thomas of 11 miles Bull Bay, St. Thomas, 27-year-old Kymani Griffiths, otherwise called ‘Rilly’, of 11 miles Bull Bay, St Thomas, 20-year-old Dujuan Dixon, otherwise called ‘Bunno’, of Monk Street, Spanish Town, St Catherine, 29-year-old Jermaine Senior of Park Lane, Kingston, 25-year-old Daniel Annon of 12 Park Lane, Red Hills Road, Kingston and 34-year-old Jaylee Henry of Banks, Sunrise Crescent and Red Hills Road, Kingston.

Charged for providing a benefit to a criminal organisation is Nicholas Henry, otherwise called ‘Chemist’ of Mammie Road, St Andrew.

Investigations revealed that the network engaged in a string of serious and violent crimes including murders, shootings and robberies between 2021 and 2026 in the parishes of St. James,
St. Catherine, Kingston, St. Andrew and St. Thomas.

The National Strategic Anti-Gang Division of the SIB conducted a series of targeted operations, and the accused were apprehended, positively identified during identification parades and charged.
