JPS nears full restoration following the passage of Hurricane Melissa; 99.7% of its customers back on its grid

The Jamaica Public Service (JPS) is moving closer to full restoration following the passage of Hurricane Melissa last October with 99.71% of its customers back on its grid.
Energy Minister Daryl Vaz gave the update in Parliament yesterday as he responded to concerns raised by the Opposition about the slow progress of restoration in some areas.
