A man accused of attempting to abduct a woman died after he was reportedly mobbed by angry residents of Treadways District in Linstead, St. Catherine yesterday.
The man’s identity has not been released.
Police say he was set upon by upset residents and sustained multiple injuries during the ordeal.
The man was taken to hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Investigations are ongoing.
