Opposition Leader Mark Golding has called on the Government to tell the nation how the country will benefit from the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signed between Jamaica and the United States relating to Third-Country Nationals.
According to the Government, the MOU will provide for Third-Country Nationals transferred from the U.S., to transit through Jamaica to their final destination.
Speaking at a PNP press conference yesterday, Mr. Golding said while the U.S. has been a great international ally for decades, the Government has a duty to explain Jamaica’s benefit from the MOU.
He said Jamaica has taken on a huge responsibility.
