PM Dr. Andrew Holness says Jamaica is about 99% restored following the passage of Hurricane Melissa last October

Prime Minister Dr. Andrew Holness has indicated that Jamaica is about 99% restored in utility services following the passage of Hurricane Melissa last October.
He was addressing members of the Diaspora in the United States at the Recover Better Conference/Post Hurricane Reconstruction Forum for Jamaica yesterday.
Citing utilities and public services as examples, Dr. Holness noted that the country is back up and running.
He acknowledged that there are some challenges such as distribution of roof repair grants.
