PM Holness calls on private insurers to pay the insurance claims made due to Hurricane Melissa

Prime Minister Dr. Andrew Holness is calling on private insurers to pay the insurance claims made due to Hurricane Melissa.
He noted that delays in fulfilling claims slow national recovery.
Speaking at the National Housing Trust’s (NHT’s) handing over ceremony in Malvern, St. Elizabeth today, Dr. Holness pointed out that the NHT is an example of an entity being proactive with processing insurance claims.
He said the NHT has made insurance payments of over $2 billion dollars to date,
