Prime Minister Dr. Andrew Holness says capital investments are not driven by demonstrations or political allegiance but by projects that will yield economic returns.
He made the statement at the Spring Village bridge opening in Old Harbour, St. Catherine today.
According to the Prime Minister, the Government must be objective when carrying out projects.
He said investments cannot be prompted by persons who stage fiery protests, block the most roads or know the different government ministers.
He explained that investments are selected based on what will deliver the greatest economic return for the country and citizens.
He cited the Spring Village bridge as an example of critical infrastructure that benefits many.
