In meantime, residents of Granville in St. James took to the streets today to protest the deaths of three persons during an alleged police confrontation in the community this morning.
A 4-year-old child, and two males were fatally shot in the incident.
Lawmen say a high-powered rifle was also seized.
A woman believed to be a relative of the 4-year-old child gave her account of what transpired.
The placard bearing residents are disputing the police report of what transpired and are calling on the authorities to intervene.
