Chief Executive Officer of Tamper Consulting, Kenute Hare, is urging Public Passenger Vehicle (PPV) operators to equip their vehicles with black boxes.
The devices can record vital driving data, including speed, braking patterns, acceleration and location.
Mr. Hare underscored the importance of the device, especially in the event of fatal crashes.
He said the device can help in court cases, as the data can dispute certain claims, including speed estimates.
Hare was a guest presenter at a recent Transport Operator Development Sustainable Services virtual forum.
