A 15-year-old boy of Bottom Town, Clarks Town in Trelawny has been charged with burglary following an incident within his community on Sunday, September 15.
Reports are that about 11:45 p.m., a woman was sleeping when she heard her daughter screaming.
The woman ran to her daughter’s room, turned on the lights and allegedly saw the 15-year-old boy with her daughter’s iPhone 14 in a corner of the room.
The police were summoned and the teen was taken into custody and was subsequently charged.
He is scheduled to appear at the Trelawny Parish Court on Tuesday, September 17.
