Health Minister Dr. Christoher Tufton is reporting that Jamaica remains free from the Ebola virus.
Ebola outbreaks have been reported across several Central and West African countries.
The World Health Organization (WHO) has declared the outbreak a Public Health Emergency of International Concern.
Providing an update during a post-Cabinet press conference this morning, the Health Minister noted that nine passengers from various flights into Jamaica, who were reported to have travel histories linked to the affected countries, have not manifested symptoms associated with Ebola.
