“No child should have their life taken away attempting to break up a conflict” – FWCF saddened at passing of 13yo Kemelia Paul

The Fi We Children Foundation (FWCF) is expressing sadness at the passing of 13-year-old Excelsior High School student, Kemelia Paul, who died in the hospital yesterday.
In a statement today, the Foundation extended condolences to Kemelia’s parents, friends, classmates and the wider school community during this difficult time.
FWCF Youth Policy Committee Member, Sabrina Barnes, said no child should have their life taken away attempting to break up a conflict.
She said the incident underscores the need for greater conflict resolution education across the country.
