Tyre Warehouse Automotive (TWA) has sought to assure that it remains the sole authorised distributor and dealer of Jetour vehicles in Jamaica, the Cayman Islands and Barbados.

TWA says the assurance follows recent publications regarding Jetour dealership arrangements in the Caribbean, which have created unnecessary concern and confusion among members of its valued Jetour community.

TWA states that its distributorship and dealership agreements with Jetour Automobiles, a subsidiary of the Chery Group, remain fully intact and are neither governed, controlled, nor subject to oversight by any third-party local or regional entity.

It also notes that any announcements concerning dealership arrangements in other Caribbean territories have no bearing on the ownership experience of Jetour customers in Jamaica, Barbados or the Cayman Islands.

This, it says, includes warranty coverage, after-sales service, spare parts availability, service packages, and all customer support commitments currently provided by TWA.

TWA says its customers can remain confident that their relationship remains secure, direct and unaffected by any third-party claims.

It says that as a subsidiary of Tyres-R-Us Limited, TWA has operated and will continue to operate with the independence, integrity, and customer-first philosophy that enabled it to successfully introduce and establish the Jetour brand in the Caribbean since October 2024.

According to TWA, it did not simply follow a market trend; it helped redefine automotive value in Jamaica by introducing customer-centric innovations.
