“We’ve lost a fine Jamaican” – Senate President pays tribute to late former Gov’t Senator Leslie Campbell

This morning’s sitting of the Senate commenced with a tribute to late former Government Senator, Leslie Campbell.

Mr. Campbell, who was battling an illness for some time, passed away on Sunday, May 3.

In his tribute, Senate President, Tom Tavares Finson noted that despite being ill, Mr. Campbell maintained his humour and composure to the very end.

Mr. Tavares Finson also lauded the late politician’s contribution to Jamaica.
