Scotia’s “Christmas in the Park” will be back at Emancipation Park on Thursday, December 5, 2024, bringing festive cheer and excitement to Jamaicans with its annual Christmas concert.

“Christmas in the Park is a family-friendly musical experience featuring talented performers that will undoubtedly ignite the Christmas spirit in all our patrons,” said Yanique Forbes-Patrick, Vice President of Public Affairs and Communications. “The concert also allows us to promote positivity and togetherness within the community while showcasing the incredible talent of our youth.”

This year’s event is produced by international recording artist Tessanne Chin-Crooks. The night will spotlight young, talented Jamaican performers from the Voice Box Performing Arts and crowd favourite performing artiste, Dwight Richards.

Adding to the excitement, Scotiabank Jamaica Foundation will also make a charitable donation to Project Star, the social transformation and renewal program initiated by the Private Sector Organisation of Jamaica in partnership with the Jamaica Constabulary Force.

Patrons can also look forward to treats and refreshments from partners such as Caribbean Dreams, Grace Kennedy, Cal’s, CPJ, Honey Bun, Kande’s Delight and Wisynco, with additional offerings from Di Naturals Bulk and Packaging Limited.

“At Scotia Group we are always eager to give back to the community. Christmas in the Park checks all the boxes for a great holiday event, it is good entertainment, it promotes the joy of giving plus our one-of-a-kind, Jamaican Christmas spirit,” Forbes-Patrick added. “We invite everyone to join us and enjoy the festivities as we reflect on Scotia Christmas in the Park on December 5.”

Gates open at 5pm and admission is free.
