Residents of Lacovia, St. Elizabeth are calling on the authorities to address urgently the flooding of their communities.
The heavy rains over recent weeks flooded the area impacting movement and leading to frustration among residents.
They mounted a roadblock along the Lacovia Main Road yesterday.
They believe the clearing of a drain will alleviate the problem.
Another resident highlighted the impact of the flooding on her chicken business.
They expressed dissatisfaction with the slow response from elected representatives.
The flooding in the general area impacted traffic resulting in a pile up.
On Monday motorists were stuck in traffic at Holland Bamboo for hours.
