Micro, Small and Medium-sized business operators can once more ship items to customers in the United States using a pre-paid duty system.
This as Jamaica Post, which offers logistics and shipping services at post offices, recently implemented the duty paid solution.
Minister of Efficiency, Innovation, and Digital Transformation, Audrey Marks made the announcement during her Sectoral debate presentation in Parliament today.
Ms. Marks explained that the USA changed the Duty Free Shipping Policy and the Post Office effected a remedy to the problem entrepreneurs faced sending small packages.
She said the service will become effective on June 1.
