Foreign Affairs Minister, Kamina Johnson Smith says Jamaican students who remain in Cuba are doing so at will.
She made the comment while addressing a post-Cabinet press briefing at Jamaica House this morning.
There have been concerns about the safety of Jamaican students in Cuba due to the infrastructure and fuel crisis the country is facing. The humanitarian situation has also been compounded by intensified sanctions by the United States.
Mrs. Johnson Smith said the Government has agreed to assist the students with departing the Caribbean nation.
