Works Minister Robert Morgan says the Government will soon begin a major infrastructure upgrade on the Troy to Warsop Road in Trelawny.
The work valued at $280 million will be done under the main road component of the SPARK programme.
Mr. Morgan was responding to Member of Parliament (MP) for Manchester North Western, Mikael Phillips, who urged the Government not to forget rural roads.
Phillips was speaking at the recent reopening of the Troy Bridge in Trelawny.
Responding to Mr. Phillips, Mr. Morgan disclosed that roads in Trelawny and Manchester will benefit from road works over the weeks to come.
