Four men fatally shot and cop wounded during alleged confrontation in Bog Walk Gorge in St. Catherine

Four men were fatally shot during an alleged confrontation with lawmen in the Bog Walk Gorge in St. Catherine today.
The names of the deceased have not been released.
It’s reported that a police officer was also shot and wounded during the incident.
Commissioner of The Independent Commission of Investigations (INDECOM) Hugh Faulkner said the details of the incident are being ascertained.
He said the wounded officer has been taken to hospital for treatment.
According to INDECOM 143 persons have died in alleged confrontations with the security forces since January.
