Burn survivor Adrianna Laing is being hailed for being an inspiration, as she was given special recognition during the graduation ceremony at Maggotty High School in St. Elizabeth today.
Laing is the only survivor of a house fire at her home in Westmoreland five years ago; her three younger brothers perished.
Following treatment overseas Laing returned to Jamaica and went to St. Elizabeth where she lived with her grandmother and attended high school.
Today, Laing marched alongside her schoolmates at the graduation ceremony signalling the end of their secondary-level educational journey.
In a special tribute, teachers praised Laing for her strength and resilience.
They assured Laing that she will always have their love and support.
