Teen boy dies after being electrocuted in Gimmi-mi-bit, Clarendon – IRIE FM

A teen boy died after being electrocuted in Gimmi-mi-bit, Clarendon, on Saturday.
Dead is 16-year-old Rishane Roberts, a student of Garvey Maceo High School.
Reports are that, at about 9:00 a.m., Roberts was standing on a roof while using a metal rod to access coconuts.
Roberts reportedly lost his balance, causing the rod to become entangled with electrical wires.
He was electrocuted.
The police were alerted and Roberts was transported to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
