Custos of St.James, Bishop Conrad Pitkin says the brazen killing of a woman at a church in Montego Bay, St. James last week is a reflection of the society.
He was speaking this morning at the Montego Bay New Testament Church of God in St. James where the incident occurred.
38-year-old businesswoman Corra Thompson of Cumber Avenue, Montego Bay, St.James was shot and killed by gunmen at the entrance of the church while a service was taking place.
According to Custos Pitkin, there was a time when the church was considered a safe haven.
Bishop Pitkin offered his support to the church family and also the family of the deceased.
