Female among three fatally shot by police in Williamsfield Manchester yesterday

Three people including a female were fatally shot during an alleged confrontation with police in Williamsfield, Manchester yesterday.

The identities of the deceased have not been released.

Reports are that at about 4:30 P.M., officers intercepted a vehicle and the occupants allegedly opened gunfire.

The police returned fire and all three occupants were fatally shot.

Two firearms were seized following the incident.

Investigations continue.
