Information Minister distinguishes between TCN and Cuban Medical Programmes following questions

The Cuba Medical Corporation and the Third Country National (TCN) Programme are two different agreements. 

That is the response from Information Minister, Dr. Dana Morris Dixon after being asked to justify Jamaica temporarily housing non-Jamaican migrants deported from the United States under the TCN while recently sending home Cuban doctors and nurses. 

Dr. Morris Dixon said the Cuban Medical Programme ended because of issues with conformity to Jamaica’s labour laws.
