Jamaica/ Cuba eye care programme closed for the holidays

The Ministry of Health & Wellness has announced that the Jamaica/Cuba Eye Care programme at the St Joseph’s Hospital will be close to the public for the upcoming holidays.

The programme will be placed on hold for the  Christmas break from December 11 to January 17, 2025 and all clinical operations will be suspended.  

"Persons with enquires are asked to contact the Programme at 1-876-822-2755; 876-218-2205 and 876-633-7793-6.

Regular services will resume on Monday, January 20, 2025.

"The Ministry of Health & Wellness apologies for any inconvenience that this may cause," a release from the health authority said.
