The Louis Grant Conference Centre at Sandals Dunn’s River in St. Ann has been officially opened.
The state of the art facility named after the late hospitality industry icon and Sandals General Manager, Louis Grant was opened on Tuesday.
The centre serves as an ideal meeting space in St. Ann, and is part of the resort’s continued efforts to cement its place in the Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions, MICE market.
The facility boasts a large space that can be converted into three meeting rooms -dubbed Laughing Waters, White River and Fern Gully- key tourist attractions in St. Ann.
Over 2 million US dollars has been spent on the facility so far.
Regional Managing Director for Sandals Resorts International in Jamaica Jeremy Jones said that figure is expected to increase as more work is being done.
He said the facility is expected to boost business for Sandals.
