Prime Minister Dr. Andrew Holness has reiterated that the Government is developing a policy to guide the urban renewal process, especially for communities in Kingston.
Speaking at a Land Titling ceremony for Ackee Walk and Jackson Town in St. Andrew today, Dr. Holness explained that the housing stock is deteriorating in some communities, and that some residents are displacing others when they make certain housing decisions.
Dr. Holness said the policy would address the process of displacement, which he described as being chaotic.
