Power restored to customers in several St. Ann communities after truck crashed into utility pole, disrupting service yesterday

Electricity has been restored to Jamaica Public Service (JPS) customers in several St. Ann communities, following an outage due to a motor vehicle crash yesterday.
In a social media post on Saturday, the JPS informed of an outage in areas including Milford Road, Harrison Town, Columbus Heights, Shaw Park, Parry Town, Pimento Walk and Breanne Hill.
An accompanying picture posted showed a motor truck crashed into a utility pole.
JPS later reported that the truck was removed, allowing crews to complete repairs and replace the damaged pole.
According to JPS, power was restored fully to all affected customers by 6:24 this morning after several hours of repair work.
