Taxi operators and residents of Gregory Park, St. Catherine protest over poor road conditions

Several taxi operators, as well as residents of Gregory Park, St. Catherine, took to the streets this morning to protest over poor road conditions.
Demonstrators mounted burnt tyres and other debris to block the roadway and to register their frustration.
President of the Transport Operators Development and Sustainable Services, Egeton Newman, told IRIE FM news that while the thoroughfare has been cleared, the issue must not be ignored.
He said motorists, especially public passenger vehicle operators, are suffering.
