A 58-year-old woman is dead and three others including two children are hospitalized following a crash along the New Green Road in Manchester this morning.
The deceased has been identified as Judith Morgan of Georges Valley, Manchester.
Reports are that at about 8:05 a.m. Morgan’s daughter was driving a Nissan AD Wagon motorcar with her and two children ages three years and two months aboard when upon reaching a section of the road, the vehicle veered over a precipice.
The authorities were contacted and all 4 occupants were taken to hospital, where Morgan succumbed and the others were treated and admitted in stable condition.
Meantime, owner of Big Rat Wrecking Peter James, said shortly after the crash, he was contacted by one of the occupants for help.
He is reminding persons to exercise caution when using the roadway.
