Armed robbers reportedly stole $2 m from a Western Union branch on Shortwood Road in Kingston, earlier today.
Reports are that about 11:30 a.m. the men, dressed in attire similar to guards, entered the establishment and robbed staff and customers of money, cellular phones and other items.
They then escaped in a waiting motor car.
Police said at least one person was beaten by the robbers and has been taken to hospital for treatment.
Anyone with information on this incident is being asked to contact the police.
