A mother has been taken into police custody in relation to the death of her 3 month old baby in Kingston.
The deceased is Juda Shaw of Marl Road, Kingston 2.
Head of the Kingston East police Superintendent Michelle Campbell said the child was found unresponsive and wrapped in a blanket at his home yesterday.
She said the mother, who was not at home, when the baby’s body was found, was listed as a person of interest in relation to the child’s death.
Superintendent Campbell said the mother is under police guard at hospital.
Superintendent Campbell said investigations into the incident continue, noting that no angle is being ruled out.
