St James police probe murder of woman at Peoples Arcade

The St. James police are probing the murder of a woman at the Peoples Arcade in Montego Bay, this morning.

Dead is 32 year old Jassett Blake, a vendor of Somerton district.

Reports are that about 6:30 a.m. Blake was in her car, with her children, when an armed man approached and opened gun fire, hitting her.

The 3 children were not hurt.

They have since been placed in the custody of relatives.

The police said they are following several leads and theories, including interpersonal conflict.
